Credit repair companies cannot
"fix", "erase"
or "rebuild" your
credit, nor legally provide
you a new tax ID or social security
number.
Legitimate errors in your credit
report can be corrected,
but you can do this yourself,
without incurring unnecessary
fees. However, negative credit
marks, if accurate, cannot and
will not be removed by credit
reporting agencies. If any credit
repair agency or attorney tries
to convince you otherwise, run.
